      <image:title>March for Black Women &amp; Girls - Coffy Davis</image:title>
      <image:caption>Author/Poet and speaker Coffy Davis was born and raised in Oakland, California. She has an English and Tech Writing degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. In 2004 Coffy became a trailblazer and created the Underground Railroad Neighborhood project (TURN project) an initiative that bridged art and literacy with at-risk communities. She first became known for her regional stage play, FREEDOM, a play that merged verse and performance. In 2017 her book MEdusa: Reflections of an Angry Black Girl won the Arkansas State Arts Council Award for Creative Non-Fiction and in 2018 the Nan Snow Emerging New Writer’s Award. She also has written two books of poetry, Ghetto Politics and Reflections in Poetry. In 2019 she became a yoga instructor and fitness expert. She currently speaks at events that center around the empowerment of women and girls, fitness, self care and writing through trauma.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Vernice King often refers to herself as a Butterfly. Her work balances between the Entrepreneurial and Community arena. She is the Owner and Business Manager of her family’s local business, KingCare Painting and Construction, she owns a mobile notary service, Arkansas Notary 24/7, is a Telecommunication Specialist for Arkansas Game &amp; Fish Commission, and is soon launching a A Place for Resources, which will be a hub for professional and personal growth courses for young women. Vernice has studied Engineering, Marketing and Ecommerce, has worked in Insurance &amp; Mortgage Loan Origination, and completed SBA’s Emerging Leaders. She is an active member of the business community, including Women Influencers of Arkansas and the Shift{her} Mindset group. Born and bred on the Southside of Chicago, Vernice moved to Arkansas as it called to her adventurous and natural spirit. She has always loved lifting others up, whether through community resources or showing people that they have no limits. In her spare time, she enjoys volunteering for initiatives that focus on urban community gardens and conservation, pregnant and parenting teens, and the homeless community. You’ll find her on a new adventure or looking for one, immersing herself in the latest outdoor venture or relishing her favorite dish at a local eatery</image:caption>
